About Greenwood Heating and Air Conditioning

Founded in 1921, Monte Jostrom started the Greenwood Furnace Company in the Greenwood area of Seattle. Fast forward to 1990 when Pat Martin bought the business and within seven years, Greenwood Heating and Air Conditioning became the 46th fastest growing company in Washington. In 1999, Pat sold Greenwood Heating to Service Experts - a national chain of service companies with 200+ locations and controlled by Lennox International.

In 2004, Seattle resident Michael Porter bought Greenwood and returned it to its Puget Sound roots. Michael has worked in the HVAC industry since 1985 and is committed to keeping the company's standing as "The Premier Heating and Air Conditioning Company" in the Puget Sound area. We carry all HVAC lines from Lennox and Rinnai tankless water heater systems.

Wow. Ed Geiger was great. I'm a bit embarassed to write this as I thought there were more problems then batteries in my thermostat. But Ed did a thorough inspection and came up with a list of things I might need in the future with my furnace, talked me through it very professionally and in laymans terms. He was there shortly after my call, and I am happy to say, I am back in business (heat!). I will always call Greenwood Heating, as they have been great every time I have called. Have only owned my small home for 4 years. Thanks Ed!

I have trusted Greenwood Heating and Air Conditioning with my heating needs for 30 years...from Seattle to Sammamish. They consistently display excellent customer service, friendliness, trustworthy employees and fair prices. I tried another company once, and they just did not meet the high expectations I've been accustomed to with Greenwood. From the office staff to every technician, Greenwood is a 5 star company in my judgment.

Fabulous. Thrilled with the attention to detail, the vision, and the craftsmanship by the entire crew at Greenwood. While other companies attempted to talk us out of the heat system we wanted, Greenwood understood our vision and helped to create a system that is dreamy.
